Figure skating - Adult Trophy, 1st stage
It & egrave; ended last Saturday January 31 at Pala Tazzoli Turin the first race for regional Italian skaters Circuit Adult.

The FISG recognized the category with a special resolution of 29 December 2014 and started the current season with a series of regional competitions.
The 2014-15 season will be held & agrave; 1 & deg; January to May 30, 2015 and comprender & agrave; a regional stage, the 'Adult Trophy Italy and the Italian Cup Adults. The regional phase & egrave; consists of all the regional competitions FISG (thus excluding the free races), the artistic and dance. The members Adults may enroll in any regional race, even if called by a committee other than that to which they belong. The 'Adult Trophy Italy & nbsp; & egrave; a competition open to the participation of foreign athletes Adults, whose headquarters will & agrave; indicated by FISG among the applications received, with the dual finalit & agrave; to attract the most international participation and to promote the movement of skating adults in Italy. The & nbsp; Italian Cup Adults & nbsp; & egrave ;, however, the final competition of the season, only open to athletes Italian. The headquarters will & agrave; given annually by FISG among the applications received. Athletes of the various categories participating proposing programs or single free pattern dance respectively defined by the so-called & ldquo; & rdquo ;, Obertsdorf regulations currently applied to all major international competitions Adults.
The first leg of the race saw the participation of 19 athletes, divided by levels d & rsquo; et & agrave; between the various technical categories.
In category & nbsp; Silver Ladies Young Adult-I-II & nbsp; & egrave the podium; occupied by the athletes of the Forum of Assago. It is confirmed on the step pi & ugrave; high Alessandra Rovescalli, fresh from success at the international competition of Briancon on December 6, running a free clean to the tune of a accativante & nbsp; I will always love you & nbsp; of Whiney Houston in samba version. Follows the second place of Silvia Acquaviva, with the best technical and program components, sadly soiled from a fall on & rsquo; axel opening. Bronze medal for the small Mara Roccaforte who, recovering from a right ankle injury, seems to have regained its former charm in this first race of the season for her. Fourth place for Federica Boschiroli of & rsquo; Ice Club of Genoa.
In category & nbsp; Bronze Ladies I-II & nbsp; another successful school Assago. The legendary & ldquo; & rdquo ;, Parma group composed of Francesca Parmeggiani (gold), Virginia Maini (silver) and Fabrizia Chiastra (bronze), ahead of the competition and win the podium. Programs fluids and gi & agrave; tested for girls Parma who train at the Assago Forum. Follow a good fourth place for Michela Fannucchi of & rsquo; Ice Club of Genoa, fifth and sixth place respectively for Pamela Caivano and Anna Specogna of & rsquo; Agor & agrave; Skating Team, seventh for Nuna Tognoni of & rsquo; Artisticlub Sportincontro of Turin.
Battle for the & rsquo; gold Rosa Maria Gervasoni and Patrizia Sangiorgi of Sesto Ice Skate in the category & nbsp; Bronze Ladies III-IV. Closes in first position with a free Gervasoni definitely convincing, collecting acclaim from both the technical and the panel of judges.
In category & nbsp; Gold Young Adult-II & nbsp; you face Daniela Walloons of Sesto Ice Skate and Fernanda Treyo Forum Assago: tick Walloons, skating a clean free to the tune of Shania Twain. Bad day, however, for the & rsquo; athlete Forum of Mexican descent who, after a good start, incurs three falls on the elements of jump.
Closes the women's race, Victoria Guadagnin of Sesto Ice Skate, who competes in the category Silver Ladies IV. Pi & ugrave; safe and determined than the previous season, thanks to the exchange of technical staff occurred in the course of & rsquo; summer, Victoria completes an excellent program, deserving full score and earning a good deal of trust for international competition that & rsquo; await in the coming months.
In the men, finally, there are only three participants present. In category & nbsp; Silver Men II, the first and only location for Marcello Cazzaniga of Sesto Ice Skating Club, back from the commitments of torque with artistic partner Alessandra Tagliabue at the Yuna Cupa Tallinn on 24 January. In category Bronze Young Adult-II excellent result for Matthew Bregani Forum of Assago, who took first place with his Matrix, leaving behind the Pirate of the Caribbean and teammate Giancarlo Maraviglia.
