Samantha Cesario:
I'm really happy with how I skated today. I did not do everything perfectly, but I wanted to get on the ice and complete a clean program and this is what I believe to be able to do. I'm happy with how it went and I'm really content with being in the first position. I have never seen the famous program of Katarina Witt and Debi Thomas skated to the tune of Carmen, but it is now three years that I have this music and better every year and now I feel really comfortable. I am happy that this was my last performance with this program. I do not have a particular strategy for the Free Skating, I just want to get on track and repeat what I do every day in training, skating a clean program with confidence. "
Anna Pogorilaya:
"All of us Russian girls we skated up to today and I am the one that is better positioned and that the program skated cleaner and why am I in second place at the time. Overall, I am satisfied with my performance and to be in second position at the time. I'm in a good mood and optimistic for my free skating, I hope to do everything expected and to prove that I coached and well prepared for this competition. "
Courtney Hicks:
"I'm really happy with my performance because I did what I had in mind. I'm going to race in the free to do what I have in mind and so I trained a lot in these months. It 'a great honor to represent my country in a context so prestigious. I hope to get a medal. Today the panel was severe, so I did well the technical elements has rewarded me. "
