The U.S. skater Ashley Wagner, after being summoned to Sochi in spite of its performance is a little exciting at the national championships that the finals of the Grand Prix, he decided to change free program that will bring the Olympics.

The choice was justified by Wagner, who said: "If I had not skated poorly at the National Championships, I would not be able to change a program that certainly would not have reach very far in Sochi."
The decision was then to abandon the program based on the music of Romeo and Juliet, returning to that of last season, Samson and Delilah, with whom the U.S. had won two races of the Grand Prix, as well as second place in the finals Grand Prix itself.
The return from last year will be almost total package of music, order, and also of the technical elements of the costume, which will be yellow like the one used last year.
Wagner has added more details on how we arrived at this decision: "I told my coach, the same night in which they selected the participants in the Olympics, we had to change the program, because there was something with which I struggled throughout the season. I just could not get into the character of Juliet, the program made me nervous. I was terrified, and I was not quiet when I went down on the ice. Now I truly believe that I will be one of the favorites. "
