The International Federation (ISU) has disclosed the names of the athletes that, barring unforeseen circumstances, will take part in six rounds of qualifying dellla twenty-first edition of the Grand Prix of Figure Skating.

L & rsquo; list, when provisional verr & agrave; completed with the & rsquo; allocation of places had vacancies reserved for athletes of the house, without forgetting that, as d & rsquo; habit, there will be waivers and substitutions along the way.
Among the nations that do not host events, l & rsquo; & egrave Italy; l & rsquo; one that can boast at least one call in each discipline. Nell & rsquo; list of participants, with two appearances include guaranteed couples dance Cappellini / Lanotte and Guignard / Fabbri, as well as & eacute; the couple's artistic Marchei / Hotarek. Altogether they were selected athletes / pairs representing twenty-seven countries and four continents.

In & ldquo; the list of invitations & rdquo ;, behind Russia, leader of attendance between the pairs of art and dance, are the United States (46, with the highest number of seats available in both the male and the female sector), Canada (30), Japan (28, but absent between pairs of art), China (22), & nbsp; France (16), Italy (9), South Korea (4), Kazakhstan (4), Israel (3), Slovakia (3), Spain (3), Sweden (3), Germany (2), Czech Republic ( 2), & nbsp; Uzbekistan (2), Austria (1), Ukraine (1), Great Britain (1), Georgia (1), Denmark (1), Latvia (1), Finland (1), Slovenia (1), Hong Kong (1 ), the Philippines (1), Australia (1)
Specifically, they will be competing pairs of artistic flying seven different flags and dance associations of thirteen countries. At the start of the events female athletes are announced fifteen nations, while the countries represented in the male are eighteen.
Among the curiosities & agrave ;, vanne marked the debut in the Grand Prix of a bearer of Hong Kong, the first appearances of the story in the women's field for Kazakhstan and Latvia, as well as & eacute; the debut of Denmark in the dance.
No shortage of challenges that now promises sparks. In the women, the Japanese and the Russian Radionova Asada will compete in the Cup of China in Beijing. Skate Canada will agrave & ;, however, the theater of confrontation between the landlord Patrick Chan and the Japanese Yuzuru Hanyu, Olympic champion. A Bordeaux andr & agrave; stage the match between Olympic medalists Patrick Chan and Denis Ten (KAZ). Finally, in the NHK Trophy in Nagano, Canadians Duhamel / Radford, defending champions will challenge the Russian Volosozhar / Trankov, winners of & rsquo; last edition of the Olympic Games.
As was the case last season, the available places in each stage will be twelve competitions in single and eight races in pairs.
The first event on the calendar will & agrave; Skate America, held in Milwaukee in Wisconsin between 23 and 25 October. The next week will be & agrave; the turn of Skate Canada (Lethbridge, October 30 / November 1). The third stage will be held & agrave; in China (Beijing, 6/8 November). The caravan will transfer & agrave; then in Europe for Troph & egrave; and Eric Bompard (Bordeaux, 13/15 November) and the Rostelecom Cup (Moscow 20/22 November). The qualifying round will close & agrave; with the NHK Trophy in Nagano (27/29 December).
