Through the personal portal, Viktoria Helgesson announced the official retirement from racing.

The twenty-six of Tibro has perci & ograve; ended his playing career with the participation at the European Championships in Stockholm, concluded in fifth position with the new personal records improved in each segment of the race.
"Continue & ograve; to work in figure skating," said the 'eight-time national champion Swedish, "no more & ugrave; as an athlete, but as a coach and choreographer. The decision & egrave; gradually matured during the season and I think it is the choice right. I can say that you have obtained the greatest satisfactions of how many I never imagined when I started to skate over twenty years ago. During this time, I had wonderful moments, unforgettable memories and so many fantastic experiences. I want to thank my fantastic coaching staff , who accompanied me on this incredible journey, the Swedish Federation, the National Olympic Committee, Stend & ouml; rren and sponsors. Obviously, a huge thank you also goes to all my fans. Do not 'I would never have done it without you ".
Viktoria Helgesson took part in twenty-first-level competitions (World 6, 8 European, 10 stages of the Grand Prix and the Olympic Games in Sochi). Boasts three fifth places at the European Championships (2012, 2013, 2015) and & egrave; was tenth in the World Championships in Turin in 2010. In 2011, nell''edizione Skate America held in Ontario and ended in third posizine, & egrave; became the first Swedish skater to win a podium in a stage of Grand Prix.
