The Freestyle module organized by the LIGURIA REGION'S SKI INSTRUCTORS COLLEGE and inserted within the technical-training path that will lead aspiring ski instructors to become future snow professionals ended on the snows of Prato Nevoso (CN).

The pandemic in progress has not stopped the training course for aspiring alpine ski instructors.The long training course lasting ninety days (actual), where all the progression of skiing is treated both from a theoretical and practical point of view, on ski slopes, where all the technical progression is divided into levels and modules.
The LIGURIAN REGION SKI INSTRUCTORS COLLEGE strongly wanted this preparatory module within the Pratonevoso SnowPark as freestyle skiing is now a consolidated reality within all those ski resorts that have areas dedicated to the practice of freestyle , practiced by both skiers and snowboarders.
More and more skiers, even very young ones, are approaching the practice of freestyle of which the SnowPark is the teaching room. The figure of the ski instructor is fundamental to take the first steps inside the Snowpark, to be able to try the first jumps or slide on boxes or rails in complete safety.
The world of alpine skiing is constantly evolving and that is why the demand and supply within ski resorts is always growing and evolving, just think how Freestyle and Freeride are now very popular at 'within our ski areas, not only by professionals in the sector but also by amateurs of all ages who require lessons inside the Snowpark with ski instructors trained or qualified to teach these new very popular disciplines.
The LIGURIA REGION SKI INSTRUCTORS COLLEGE very attentive to these new needs that the Italian Ski Schools are facing due to the strong demand from the consumer for freestyle ski lessons and courses, the Collegio Liguria has promptly entered already in 2018, within the training course for aspiring ski instructors the freestyle module, where on the snows of Cuneo forty-five aspiring ski instructors, coming from many regions of northern Italy, were able to learn the fundamental rules that must be followed inside the Snowpark, learn the technical progression, practice with the approach and customer assistance on the SnowPark structures and acquired specialized technical notions on the equipment used for the practice of freestyle skiing.
Module strongly desired by the president and the board of directors of the Ski Instructors College of the Liguria region, in particular by the Course Coordinator Mirco Zaquini who adds: "The Ski Instructors College of the Liguria region has prepared an innovative project intended to introduce, in its training, with the help of highly qualified professionals such as 2nd level FISI STF trainers Specialized in FREESKI, the basics of teaching within a SnowPark and the basic maneuvers of Freestyle, theory and different approaches. All this in order to insert the student ski instructors into the working world within structures other than the free field ".
The main purpose of this module was to contribute to the creation of new generations of alpine ski instructors capable of seizing market opportunities by developing new skills and motor skills such as those needed on the structures and jumps within the SnowPark. The course aimed to provide participants with the basic elements necessary to build a professional figure necessary to meet the "new" market needs within an association of instructors or within alpine ski schools. . The format of the lessons was aimed at solving practical cases that could occur on the ski slopes during a lesson, in order to fulfill the needs of customers from the smallest up to an adult clientele.
During the Freestyle module, the national Alpine Ski instructors Fabio Ruffini, Carlo Lamagna and Massimiliano Novena were present, flanked by the Freeski teachers (Fisi Stf masters and coaches specialized in Freeski) Andrea Bergamasco, Gabriele Fantoni and Stefano Repetto.
