Biography: Nadia Fanchini, born on June 25, 1986 in Val Camonica, was a leading figure of the Italian women’s speed team for more than a decade. A specialist in downhill and super-G, she earned World Cup podiums and two World Championship medals, ranking among the best in the world on the toughest slopes. Her career was marked by numerous injuries but also by remarkable comebacks, highlighted by victories and top-class performances. She was known for her powerful skiing, courage and deep commitment to the national team. Together with her sisters Elena and Sabrina, she wrote a special chapter in Italian women’s skiing.
