Third podium in three races of the specialty in the continental review for Nadia Delago that after the two triumphs of Zauchensee comes second in the women's downhill in the European Cup of Val di Fassa and will be awarded with the debut in the World Cup in the super-G in Cortina d'Ampezzo on Sunday.

The Austrian Elisabeth Reisinger prevails with a time of 1.23.46 but our Nadia is second at 68 cents, ahead of the Swiss Juliana Suter of 2 tenths. Immediately afterwards we find another Swiss, Luana Fluetsch, the French Madeleine Chirat fifth, the Swiss Nathalie Groebli sixth, the Austrian Johanna Greber seventh, the French Esther Paslier eighth, with the Swiss Noemie Kolly and the Austrian Michaela Heider tenth.
Just behind Roberta Melesi eleventh, with Federica Sosio thirteenth, Elena Dolmen sixteenth, Asja Zenere twentieth, Teresa Runggaldier twenty-first, Valentina Cillara Rossi twenty-third, Giulia Albano twenty-fifth, Jole Galli twenty-seventh and Carlotta Da Canal twenty-ninth complete a platoon of blue in the 30.
Then we find Giulia Paventa thirty-fifth, the Padua-born Pizzato thirty-seven, Padua Maria Berta forty-first, Magdalena Haas forty-fifth, Heloise Edifizi forty-eight, fifty-fifth Carole Agnelli, fifty-ninth and last Asia Pianalto. Disqualified Martina Nobis.
With this result Nadia Delago is third in the general cup with 293 points, followed by Roberta Melesi to 274. Downhill, however, Nadia is still first with 50 points ahead of Reisinger who is the general's leader.
In the men's field, the Norwegian "attacking vikings" take the giant at the Italian home with a hat-trick: Lucas Braathen wins with a time of 2.01.70, ahead of compatriots Bjoemar Neteland and Rasmus Winginstad, respectively 23 and 50 cents.
At the foot of the podium are the Austrian Stefan Brennsteiner, followed by the Finnish Samu Torsti, the Swiss Cedric Noger and another Austrian, Patrick Fuerstein. The Swiss Daniele Sette and the first light blue, Giovanni Borsotti (+0.93), were ex-aequo. closes the Top 10 Simon Maurberger (+1.17), a bit 'back from the last races.
Fifteenth Giulio Giovanni Bosca, seventeenth Andrea Ballerin and thirtieth Hannes Zingerle. Over thirty then we find Roberto Nani thirty-ninth, Alex Zingerle forty, Stefano Baruffaldi forty-fourth, Samuel Moling forty-eighth, Alex Vinatzer forty-ninth and Tobias Kastlunger fifty-third, last Italian at the finish. Non-qualified Matteo Canins and Damian Hell, out in second run Alessandro Brean, while Alex Hofer, Daniele Sorio, Luca Taranzano, Manuel Ploner and Lorenzo Mencaccini have not finished the first heat.
Simon Maurberger remains in command of the general classification with 413 points, while in giant he is fourth with 186, followed by Andrea Ballerin, fifth to 163.
