Dubovska leading the first European Cup slalom in Valle Aurina: Peterlini to attack the podium

The first heat sees the Czech place in front of the Swedes Fermbaeck and Bostroem Mussener, the best blue is eighth at just under 9 tenths, further away Rossetti and Della Mea.

As in 2020, in Valle Aurina there is a show with a double slalom of the women's European Cup, respectively third and fourth in specialties after the victories of Emma Aicher in Pass Thurn. The very young German is not competing in the South Tyrolean town, but there is no lack of quality for today's appointment which sees, at the end of the first heat, a high level athlete like Martina Dubovska in front of all. The 29-year-old Czech (who won the second slalom in these parts in 2020) will start last in the 2nd heat scheduled from 13.00, having preceded the two Swedes Elsa Fermbaeck and Moa Bostroem Mussener by 11 and 17 cents, with Elena Stoffel 3 tenths away and Meta Hrovat, 5th at + 0 ”42, ahead of the other Swiss Selina Egloff (sixth at + 0” 52). Between Chiara Mair (7 ^ to + 0 ”63) and Katharina Gallhuber (9 ^ to a clear second), here is the blue tip that responds to the name of Martina Peterlini; first appearance of the season for the thirty in the European Cup and, despite an already not ideal No. 19 (even if the track held up very well), eighth time with 86 cents to recover in Dubovska, but the possibility of attacking the podium area exists. The other Italians in the World Cup group are less successful, from Marta Rossetti who only “runs” in the top 20 zone, with 1 ”36 behind, to Lara Della Mea 22nd at 1” 55. (updating)
