The second race of the continental circuit in Val di Fassa sees the Russian Pleshkova (1st career success) beat the South Tyrolean, now completely recovered, by just 11 cents. Fourth place for Nadia Delago.

Another splendid podium, again one step away from that victory that it deserves for the growth shown during a season that represents his true rebirth, at 26 and after having also found a bib in the World Cup, on the occasion of the giant of Kronplatz.
Karoline Pichler is second in the super-g bis on "La VolatA" at Passo San Pellegrino, in a two-day European Cup in Val di Fassa that ends in the best way for the blue team, which yesterday had collected an 8th place with Nadia Delago in the first super-g dominated by the Swiss. Today everything has changed, apart from the confirmation of a talent that is emerging like that of Julia Pleshkova: second yesterday (first podium in the European Cup), the 23-year-old Russian today won her first victory in the circuit, ahead of just 11 cents. Pichler, on the podium like last weekend in Livigno, when the two giants from Valtellina finished in 3rd and 4th place.
The third place of the day is brought home by the Austrian Sabrina Maier, 25 cents away from Pleshkova, then in fourth place (at 73 cents) is Nadia Delago, who rises again level and precedes Nadine Fest by only one cent, disappointed like the first two of the specialty classification, the Swiss Stephanie Jenal and Jasmina Suter (third and first yesterday) who respectively finish in sixth and eighth position, with Magdalena Egger between them.
At home Italy also comes the 26th place of Jole Galli, 2 ”69 away, with Federica Sosio and Sofia Pizzato only close to the points, while she left when Teresa Runggaldier was traveling discreetly.
Now the European Cup is ready for the final act in two phases: from 10 March away to the finals for men and women in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, then from 18 to 21 of the month the technical tests at Reiteralm.
