On Sunday 3rd January and Wednesday 6th the two appointments for women and men on the Sljeme hill: FIS and organizers will make a decision in the next few hours.

Officially confirmed on Boxing Day, after the traditional FIS control, this time for the World Cup stage in Zagreb, with the women's slalom (scheduled for Sunday 3 January) and men's (Wednesday 6) in Sljeme, the problem is not certainly the snow.
Today was a tragic day for Croatia and for the territory involving the capital: at least six are dead, but many are missing, due to the 6.4 magnitude earthquake which, at 12.20 today, followed those warn yesterday. The damage, however, is much greater with the center of Petrinja destroyed, but also in Zagreb itself (the epicenter of the earthquake is located 40 km south-east of the capital) the disaster is counted. A shock felt also in neighboring countries, but also up to the Adriatic coast, from Veneto to the south.
So what will happen with the CdM stage? From Semmering, where the women's slalom that precedes the challenge in Croatia is taking place, some concern transpires and the Zagreb event is considered to be at high risk. Only in the next few hours the organizers will have to give guarantees to the FIS on the possibility of regularly holding the races.
