Federica also talked about the post lockdown period and those values she is very fond of: “This phase has made me further realize how much I like to always have my places, my family, my friends always by my side. I live my life 100% beyond skiing, I am convinced that you have to enjoy it and personally I am not obsessed with career. I want to feel free, even knowing that life as an athlete involves sacrifices: the more time passes, however, the more I feel the energy to do the things that allow me to feel alive. I'm really at peace with myself ”.
And on the possibility of a season in the middle, or with races behind closed doors, the Faith-thought is clear: “I cannot control this situation and therefore I prepare myself as if nothing changes. As for the public, it would be a shame because this sport is also for those who go up to the mountains to see us live, not just in front of the TV. Thinking about Cortina 2021, I think it represents a platform for the future, but only if our young people can attend the event on the track, will they be truly passionate ”.
