The 50th edition of the European Cup finally has an opening ... of course.
After the cancellation, due to the difficult weather conditions in Scandinavia, of the first races scheduled between Duved and Trysil, it will be the girls who will open a historic year for the continental circuit in Austria, a few hours before the men who will be protagonists on 29 and 30 November in Zinal for the two super-gs on the Swiss snows.
The FIS, in fact, has formalized both the recoveries of the two giants jumped in Trysil (Norway), which will be staged on Sunday 28 and Monday 29 November in the heart of Tyrol, in Mayrhofen. Appointment instead on 2-3 December for the slalom of Pass Thurn, which replace those skipped in Duved, originally scheduled for 25-26 November as the first stage of the 2021/22 European Cup.
