Too much snow or ... too little. The two extremes of a month of November that sees almost all the circuits take off at an international level, with situations that are not easy to manage.
Let's start from the FIS races and from the first ever appointment on Italian snow, the classic opening of Solda organized by Livata: the Lazio ski club was forced to cancel six out of eight races, or those remaining between last Sunday and these first two days. of the week, after the two giants on Saturday won by Elisa Platino and Alex Hofer.
Snowfalls, temperatures far from ideal and negative forecasts have raised the white flag for the dispute of the other two tests between the wide doors and for the four slaloms (two male and two female) foreseen.
Negative weather situation in terms of preparation of the slopes also in Scandinavia, and here the FIS has formalized the upheaval of the seasonal start as regards the women's European Cup: the girls should have competed in Sweden, for the two Duved slaloms of 25- November 26, then in Norway between the giants of Trysil (29-30 of the month) and the super-g of Kvitfjell on December 2 and 3.
Everything is up and, waiting to understand if there will be recoveries later in the calendar, an appointment in Zinal for an opening of the 50th edition of the continental circuit which will take place, practically like 12 months ago, directly in the Alps. g and two giants, always at the male level, first on November 29-30 and then on December 2-3, while at this point the women will finally be able to show up at the gate of a European Cup race, again in Zinal, only the 8 and 9 December with two super-g.
