They were the disappointed of the day, as they left among the most favorite of the first Alpine combined of the season and, in the very tough morning super-g of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, they were traveling in the "Brignone area", to then play everything in the discipline they liked most. For Mikaela Shiffrin and Petra Vlhova the exit from the scene in the central area of Gamskogel was a lightning bolt since it was the American, until the glean that preceded the excessive inclination that brought her out, that the Slovakian for whom an excessive stress (with little load on the outside) of the left ski which was released was fatal, had seemed decidedly on the ball and would have given us a much more interesting slalom.
