Another meeting in optimal conditions, on the snows of Val Senales which also saw the slalomists of the World Cup group as protagonists.
In particular, however, the focus was on the parallel, in view of the only race of this discipline for the 2020/21 cup season, on Friday 13 November in Lech / Zuers. It is Marta Rossetti who explains the work done: “We spent three days dedicated exclusively to the parallel, on the track reserved for us, barred and in perfect condition. I tried several pairs of skis, being a new discipline, different from the giant because of the different distance between the gates than the giant itself - the words of the 21-year-old from Brescia - We found the right set up with skis and bindings, they were three absolutely positive days, all growing.
As I have already said, I am getting into shape day after day towards my debut on 13 November in Lech and, above all, for the Levi slalom the following week ".
A second meeting, also in Val Senales, “will be used to try the starts which are very important in this specialty, where in addition to the time trial there is a direct confrontation with an opponent. We also had the opportunity to compare ourselves with the elite group and it is always a huge stimulus ”.
Rossetti, however, also thinks about his first approaches in the giant: "I really hope to make my debut soon in the giant in the World Cup - says Marta - My plans were to start with those in the European Cup, but at the moment those races are not confirmed totally. However, I continue to train even in the wide doors ”.
