After the giant of Lienz and before the Sunday slalom, the World Cup rankings see the American decisively lengthen in the general.

The fourth giant of the Women's World Cup season has shortened the specialty classification again, after the Lienz race won by Mikaela Shiffrin returned to -21 by Federica Brignone.
The Aosta Valley defended the red bib, with Marta Bassino only 37 points from her teammate and ahead of Mina Fuerst Holtmann, who confirmed herself with today's sixth place after the 2nd place in Courchevel. From a WCSL specialty point of view, the Norwegian approaches the first sub-group of merit (Holdener risks the place between 7), while Bassino is always sixth, but closer to a Rebensburg in difficulty, with Brignone instead second between Shiffrin and Vlhova.
Sofia Goggia, 29th, will still have the numbers after 16 in the next appointment scheduled in Sestriere on 18 January, while Irene Curtoni has left the 30 after today's "zero".
In the World Cup overall, there are three blue in the top eight positions, with Brignone having a hundred points margin on Vlhova and Rebensburg, while Bassino has risen to fifth place.
