The Tyrolean sprinter, fresh from second place in the downhill World Cup and the first win in the circuit, is already preparing for next season

Stephanie Venier and the Austria of female speed already seem to have very clear ideas for a year that will see the Wunderteam girls defend the extraordinary hat-trick signed in the descending CdM, which saw the 25-year-old from Innsbruck join Schmidhofer and Siebenhofer.
Having overcome the disappointment of the world championships, with no medals for the women's sector beyond silver in the parallel team event, the closure was also excellent for Venier who, after having unlocked himself by winning the Garmisch-Partenkirchen descent at the end January (in front of Sofia Goggia, on the way back to the race), he won 2nd place in the crystal ball ranking in his favorite specialty, finishing ninth in that of super-g.
"Last year we started very well as a team - Venier told his colleague from skiweltcup.tv, Andreas Raffeiner - and we continued with quality throughout the season, or at least in most of the speed races, constantly returning to the top ten. The key? In my opinion we all have a good basic technique and the training was always very good â€.
Stephanie and her companions are already preparing for the next season: "I'm sweating at the Olympic center in Innsbruck, at this stage there is a lot of cycling planned. You win and lose together, with technical supervisors and coaches, because you travel so many days together during the year that it is important to understand each other, especially with a large group of girls to manage. We are a fantastic team â€.
In turn, the Tyrolean celebrates the incredible performance shown by Mikaela Shiffrin, especially in the last season: "Did you say that you find inspiration in Roger Federer? I can say that Mikaela is extremely stimulating because, at a still young age, she did something crazy. Among other things, it is also very kind outside the chaos of the races and always in a good mood ".
