Three days of training, until January 6, for the blue peaks which will then move to Altenmarkt-Zauchensee. And they are already thinking about the two races in Sestriere.

End of year traffic on the slopes of Val di Fassa, which in the last days of December hosted some Italian slalom athletes and various national teams, starting with the Germans, but also two champions such as Tina Weirather and Alice Robinson.
And in the first days of 2020, the big blue ones will be protagonists on the "Aloch" of Pozza di Fassa, heart of the training on Trentino snows; from 4 to 6 January, in fact, Sofia Goggia, Federica Brignone and Marta Bassino (Laura Pirovano will surely also be with them) will prepare the next stage of the World Cup scheduled in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, the Salzburg location that from Thursday 9 will host the first of the two tests of the descent which will take place on Saturday 11, followed 24 hours later by the first Alpine combined of the season (after the cancellation in Val d''Isère, among other things with a difficult recovery to place later on the calendar).
In reality, however, the elite group of Gianluca Rulfi will already think about the home weekend scheduled in Sestriere the following weekend (in the middle there will be the slalom of Flachau on January 14); in fact, a lot of work is planned on the parallel giant, which will make its debut (in Sankt Moritz a parallel slalom was run) in Vialattea on Sunday 19, anticipated on Saturday 18 by the giant on the “Kandahar-G.A. Agnelli ".
Even a little slalom on the menu, thinking of the combined on Sunday 12th in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee in which Goggia, Brignone and Bassino will try to play their cards.
