The Trentino gigantist, one step away from his triumph over Chuenisbargli, confesses after that bitter slip: "I can't even think about it yet".

A blow to the heart, when everything stopped on the most beautiful and the exaltation of him and of the fans who were pushing him from home towards the first podium and, with excellent possibilities, also the first victory in the World Cup, vanished on that slipped into the curve to the right, in the heart of a Chuenisbargli that had already tamed in the first heat.
For Luca De Aliprandini it was a real blow, the departure from a giant of Adelboden that could have represented an important turning point in the career of the 29 year old from Trentino: "Finferlo" was ready to take glory, right on the track symbol of the specialty and on the same day that his girlfriend Michelle Gisin had just climbed the podium on the Altenmarkt-Zauchensee descent.
Only in today's morning, the blue gigantist let himself go to his thoughts regarding that great blurred occasion: “I almost can't think about it yet - confesses De Aliprandini - or find a word to describe how much he threw me on the ground, I think it doesn't exist a right word.
It was like a roller coaster of emotions, too many in such a short time. It is now past, I have given everything myself and would do every single thing again ".
Luca knows he can reach a different dimension than what has been achieved so far, thanks also “to the technical staff for all the work done, and the family and friends who are close to me in the most difficult moments, as well as partners and sponsors who make this possible fantastic adventure. Now my head is already at the next race in Garmisch (Sunday, February 2, ed) and I'm ready for a new challenge. And you, Adelboden, don't get rid of me easily. I'll be back next year ... ".
