The lack of results led the two transalpine specialists to say goodbye to the white circus: for Rémy 14 bibs in the World Cup, for Victor 7. Both had competed in the top circuit this season.

We can no longer define surprise choices, given that many young people are leaving the competition (and this should be reflected on) even among those already several times at the starting gate in the World Cup.
The cases of Rémy Falgoux and Victor Guillot, the two French gigantists who just today announced their retirement, is particular since we are talking about two athletes, pure gigantists who once again competed in the maximum circuit this year, who have chosen to leave the white circus not for physical troubles, but for the lack of results and motivation to move forward.
Falgoux, who will celebrate 25 years on 18 April, took part in the last race, the 14th of his trip to CdM, last month in Kranjska Gora, but this season he did not qualify for the 2nd heat after two finishes at points last year, between Garmisch and Hinterstoder. Guillot, also born in 1996, has instead collected 7 bibs in the cup, without scoring points and with the last two outings on the occasion of the weekend in Bansko, when he took part in the two giants on the Bulgarian track.
