Giuliano Razzoli guest of the Giro d''Italia in Modena: "The Olympics? The last dream of his career"

In his Emilia, which yesterday welcomed the Giro d''Italia with the stage that included the arrival in Sestola (on the slopes of that Monte Cimone that you know well ...) before today's departure from Modena, for the fifth stage which will arrive in Cattolica in the afternoon. Giuliano Razzoli was a guest of the pink race this morning and, interviewed by Ettore Giovannelli (Rai Sport correspondent also for the world of skiing for a couple of seasons), he talked about his relationship with the world of two wheels, but also of dreams and goals for the 2021/22 season, the one that will be the last of his long career unless he has second thoughts, and with the sights set entirely on the Beijing Olympics. “It is nice to find the Giro here, close to home (the“ Razzo ”is from Villa Minozzo, a town in the Reggio Apennines), on the other hand I have always had a passion for this sport as well. I like to see the champions up close: I supported Pantani and, after having admired them on TV, I also met Cipollini and Basso. I have done a lot of bike workouts in recent years, less lately for my physical problems ". We can only talk about the Olympics, with the 2010 Vancouver gold pointing to its third participation in the Games. "It's a very important appointment, I have a medal in my pocket but I want to get to Beijing in top form".
