European Cup: the giant bis on the "Salizzona" sees the Dutchman dream of his first success, but Haugan and Bissig are very close. At 11.45 the decisive heat.

The fifth male giant of the European Cup season, the second in a row on the snows of Folgaria, seems to propose a three-way match after the first heat on the “Salizzona”.
Netherlands ahead, with Maarten Meiners chasing the first podium of his career on the continental circuit and leading with 9 cents on Timon Haugan, already second yesterday, and with two tenths on the one who dominated in the race 24 hours ago, or '' Swiss Semyel Bissig. At 40 cents the Austrian Raschner, then the gaps become important with Sarrazin and Rauchfuss paired in 5th place, with a gap of 71 cents.
Italy, without Luca De Aliprandini and Giovanni Borsotti, is just out of the top ten: Alex Hofer, yesterday author of an amazing comeback, earned 6th place and the defense of the leadership in the standings, is 11th at 1 "09 , 4 cents in front of a continuously growing Filippo Della Vite, already 13th yesterday and today eager to hit the best result of his very young adventure again.
Tommaso Sala also did well, 16th at 1 ”29, Hannes Zingerle (5th in the first giant) was 18th, but only at 1” 39 and ahead of a handful of cents to Franzoni and Canzio. Six blues in the thirty, with Baruffaldi and Sorio excluded by a whisker, but in any case protagonists of the 2nd heat at 11.45 am.
