Christof Innerhofer is there, awaiting confirmation of his participation in the descent of Saalbach-Hinterglemm, scheduled for Thursday from 12.45.
Today's test on the Zwoelferkogel gave excellent sensations to the blue and the third time trial, in a shortened training as will obviously be the race, given that today's one is the only test that went on stage and with the start lowered to super-g height , after the snowfall of the past few hours. A pity because the Austrian track loses some of its excellent technical content and, with less than 90 seconds of the race, they were already quite close today in practice.
Maxence Muzaton signed the best time, more solid in the season of his maturation, with the Frenchman preceding by 5 cents Mauro Caviezel and by 30 an Innerhofer who, based on his possibility of result, will decide whether to run or not putting his injured status at risk (and therefore points in WCSL).
And if behind "Inner" there are Ferstl and Clarey, between German and French here is Mattia Casse, 5th at 36 cents and always very fast in practice, with Beat Feuz seventh only 4 tenths from Muzaton. Many big names have not pushed at all, starting from Mayer, out of the 15 to 1 â€09 gap, passing through Kilde 9th at 65 cents equal to Dressen, and the same Kriechmayr distant 91 cents.
High gap (1 â€74) for Emanuele Buzzi, however, back from the great Garmisch race, while Matteo Marsaglia found himself at ease, collecting only 66 cents and finishing in 11th position.
Alexis Pinturault tested the track in super-g optics on Friday, arriving at 2 â€24 from compatriot Muzaton.
