Another Austrian double in the Garmisch super-g, for the native of Lower Austria the specialty cup is really close. Their impressions already thinking about Cortina and the debut next Tuesday.

They will be the favorites on the “Vertigo”, even if being a new track for practically everyone, with the downhill tests that will be staged after the opening race, next Tuesday's world super-g could still give surprises.
This is what Vincent Kriechmayr and Matthias Mayer do not wish for, heading towards Cortina with the total confidence deriving from another double (when one of the two won, the other got on the podium, both in Bormio and in Kitz), the one signed today in Garmisch-Partenkirchen that brings the 29-year-old from Lower Austria higher and higher in the specialty ranking, led by Kriechmayr with 101 points ahead of Mayer, just two races to go.

The battle with Vinz leads us to confront each other in training and also in competitions, which obviously is an advantage for both. I feel good and I will bring this momentum to the World Cup ”.
