Appointment on the "Stelvio" Thursday at 11.30 am: Dominik, bib number 11, on the track he loves thinking about the races on Friday and Saturday. Appointment to 2020 for "Inner".
Wednesday 25 December 2019 4 minutes reading time
Eleven blues on the track, without Christof Innerhofer who officially renounces the races in Bormio, after the bad sensations experienced in Val Gardena, between the only race held on Saslong and the test of the following day acting as a forerunner in the super-g. For the 35-year-old from Gais, appointment directly in Wengen in mid-January.
This brings us to Bormio, for the last round of the 2019 men's World Cup, on the track that (together with Kitzbuehel of course) Dominik Paris loves most: after last year's double / super-g brace, the blue jet wants take his first win of the season, at least in one of the two descents scheduled on the "Stelvio" between Friday, in a slightly shortened version, and Saturday, before playing his cards even in Sunday's combined.
Thursday 26, with start at 11.30 am (same time as the two descents), the first and only test scheduled: enrolled with bib number 1 Mauro Caviezel, who however will not be after the aftermath in the fall in the parallel giant in Alta Badia, we will already see with Jansrud (3) and Mayer (5) very interesting things, then passing through Kilde who can be scary here, while Paris will start with the number 11, before Dressen (13), Kriechmayr (15) and Feuz (17).
The other ten blues involved, with a selection in view of the races: Buzzi with 26, Marsaglia 27, Fill 29, Casse 34, Cazzaniga 48, Battilani 54, Tonetti 57 (thinking of the combined), Schieder 62, Guglielmo Bosca 65 and Prast 71.
