The voices at the parterre are all of the same tenor. That Stelvio, for a two-day descent that promises to be nothing short of spectacular in Bormio, before the combined on Sunday.
Brice Roger, best time in the only race held, confirms: “I love this track where, seven years ago, I gained my first points in the World Cup. I like it because there are many curves and I have good sensations for now, even if the visibility was not perfect: I prefer when there is not so much sun, because in the last stretch you can see better ".
Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, fourth at 35 cents from the Frenchman, frightens everyone: "Bormio is one of the most difficult descents, the track conditions are good and for me it was a good first day".
And then there are Matthias Mayer and Beat Feuz, who are also close to us in practice. "It's always nice to ski here in Bormio, it's a magnificent descent and it's capable of burning your feet - the Austrian enthusiastically says - I'm ready for tomorrow, even if everyone wants to win here".
"The track is okay - adds the Swiss leader of the downhill classification - It is not at all simple, but on the other hand in Bormio when is it ever?".
