Atomic announced that the king of men's alpine skiing Marcel Hirscher has extended his partnership with his historic brand until 2020.

The ten-year-old wedding between the Austrian champion and the Altenmarkt im Pongau company continues, during which the 29-year-old from Salzburger Land has won everything and more. So the hypothesis of a possible withdrawal is silenced, which, however, according to us was very unlikely, we will see instead if the rumors that Hirscher wants more engaged in speed will be confirmed in the next two winters.
"It's like winning a gold medal when both of the most successful ski athletes remain loyal to our brand (Hirscher and Mikaela Shiffrin, ed) and to the sport: without any real bargaining and no tactical game. We know what we have built together and appreciate each other - says Global Race Manager Christian Höflehner - "Of course, every season is new, but the exceptional talent of Mikaela and Marcel, combined with our passion and competence in skiing competitions , they are excellent conditions for many other great moments in the future ".
Then, speaking of the supposed withdrawal of Marcel at the end of a triumphant season like never before, Höflehner adds: "Obviously, Marcel is free to choose differently at any time. However I think it was important for him to finish before his elixki trip to Canada, a strong indication of his desire to continue. And frankly everything else would be a big surprise for us, with so much fun as it is having now skiing, racing in competition with itself and others ".
