Alberto Zanatta, number 1 of Tecnica Group, on the confirmation of the World Cup: "A sign of trust"

The president of the group, technical sponsor of the world championship event, speaks on the central theme of these days. "Cortina deserves a great World Cup, with the public in the stands".

Cortina 2021 will not only be world-class races in a temple of skiing and winter sports, but also everything that will be around the world championship confirmed for the period from 8 to 21 February 2021. Behind the preparation of such an appointment there is a huge job, including that of the partners: Alberto Zanatta is the President of Tecnica Group (as well as director of Assoport), technical sponsor of Cortina 2021, and thus saw the confirmation of the World Cup on the original dates. “The choice of FIS is certainly a sign of confidence in the fact that the epidemic in 2021 will be overcome - the words of the number 1 of the group - The economic guarantee in case of cancellation goes in this same direction. We have chosen to be a partner of the World Championships because we see this event as an opportunity for promotion that combines sport, tourism and sporting goods companies (the Group has historical brands in the sector such as Nordica, Tecnica, Blizzard and Moon Boot): certainly uncertainty will be the fundamental enemy that will make it more difficult to trigger this virtuous circle, but at this point we want to share this optimism and start planning our path towards the World Cup with the organizers. We hope that other companies follow our example. We only hope not to have to see the tracks ready but empty and desolate again like last March with the CdM finals canceled. Cortina deserves a great World Championship, with the public crowding the stands, sponsors, events, and all the atmosphere of celebration and sharing that characterizes the world of skiing ".
