Criterium Nazionale Cuccioli, in Cortina d''Ampezzo a great show with the talents of the future

The results of the two days with the slalom and giant races between the "Lacedelli" and the track at Col Gallina. Success of the Western Alps in the ranking reserved for regional committees.

Two days with the perfect organization of the Ski Club Cortina ASD, for the weekend of the Criterium Nazionale Cuccioli which, on the snow of Cortina d''Ampezzo, saw the talents of the future protagonists of the traditional event reserved for the Cuccioli 1 categories (born in 2010) and Cuccioli 2 (born in 2009). On the first day, on the "Lino Lacedelli" slope in the Cinque Torri, the dispute between the male and female giant reserved for Cuccioli 1 was played with successes respectively by the Piedmontese Niccolò Castri (Equipe Beaulard), while Ludovica Vottero (Cesana San Sicario) dominated women's race. At Passo Falzarego, on the Col Gallina slope, here are the slaloms reserved for Cuccioli 2, with Sofia Michelon (SC Gallio) among the women and Leonardo D''Incà (SC Trinchiana) among the boys on the highest steps of the podium. On Sunday, however, the giants on the Lacedelli for the Cuccioli 2 category with the titles went to Marco Mancini (SC Vesuvio) and Giada D''Antonio (SC Vesuvio), while at Col Gallina the slalom for the Cuccioli 1 saw among the girls the success of Benedetta Rosa Ranieri (SC Limone) ahead of Laura Fontana (Valchisone Camillo) and Sofia Maioni (SC Cortina), with the men's race won by Nicolò Castri (Equipe Beaulard) over Tommaso Zanardi (SC 18) and Giovanni Ceccarelli (Golden Team Ceccarelli). The ranking reserved for regional committees saw the Western Alps triumph (winning the minibus offered by the FISI) over Veneto and Alto Adige.
