Summer training for the Italian men's and women's teams

Only a few days to go until the summer training sessions for the Italian women's and men's teams. Here is the program that will follow the World Cup groups and the European Cup groups that this year does not include Chile, but only Argentina.

Men's team The speed boys - Dominik Paris, Mattia Casse, Matteo Marsaglia and Peter Fill - will be busy from 10 to 15 June for athletic work followed by a glacier rally from 24 June to 2 July. Continue with training on skis from 8 to 13 July and from 23 to 25 July, as well as from 29 July to 3 August. On August 30 they will leave for Argentina where they will stay until September 28th. The injured Christof Innerhofer and Emanuele Buzzi will complete their respective rehabilitation periods instead. The slalomists and gigantists will stop for a week, from 3 to 10 June, in Formia at the Coni Olympic Training Center. The gigantists will train then on skis from June 14th to 17th in a place to be defined, to then reunite with the slalomists in the next gathering always scheduled in Formia from June 25th to July 1st, a month that foresees only a few days of glacier from the 22nd to the 26th In August the slalomists will ski from 5 to 8 in Amneville at the indoor facility and will leave for Argentina on 19 August with a return date yet to be defined. As for the European Cup, the sprinters - Guglielmo Bosca, Davide Cazzaniga, Mattia Cason, Nicolò Molteni, Federico Paini, Alexander Prast, Florian Schieder, Henri Battilani, Federico Simoni - will meet in Formia from June 1 to June 9 for athletic gathering, while the technical discipline team - Hans Vaccari, Giulio Zuccarini, Francesco Gori, Samuel Moling, Tobias Kastlunger and Pietro Canzio - are expected, again in Formia, from 16 to 27 June. In July the slalomgigantisti will ski from 7 to 13 and will return to Formia from 22 to 29, while the sprinters will be on the snow (in the place to be defined) from 4 to 12. In August the speed group will be at Stelvio from 19 to 24, while the technical disciplines will ski from 24 to 28. In September departure for South America. Women's team The two spearheads, Sofia Goggia and Federica Brignone, will work individually until June 25, the day they will move to the Stelvio Pass until June 29th. From 25 July to 3 August they will ski at Les Deux Alpes. On 30 August they will leave for Ushuaia and will remain in South America until 28 September. The polyvalent group - Elena Curtoni, Nicol Delago, Nadia Delago, Nadia Fanchini, Elena Fanchini, Marta Bassino, Francesca Marsaglia, Laura Pirovano, Johanna Schnarf, Karoline Pichler, Roberta Melesi, Verena Gasslitter - will meet in Formia from 4 to 13 June . From 25 to 29 June they will ski on the Stelvio Pass. Two other snow events are scheduled from 9 to 13 July and 6 to 10 August. Immediately afterwards it is departed in stages for Ushuaia with return to Italy between 1 and 6 September. The slalom players - Irene Curtoni, Vivien Insam, Roberta Midali, Martina Peterlini, Lara Della Mea, Anita Gulli and Marta Rossetti - will be in Formia from 3 to 21 June where they will return from 1 to 13 July. First date on the snow from 27 July to 2 August at the Stelvio Pass. From August 19th to 25th they will ski instead in Saas Fee. Departure for Ushuaia scheduled for 9 September with return to Italy on 1 October. As for the European Cup, the group of technical disciplines - Luisa Bertani, Francesca Fanti, Lucrezia Lorenzi, Elena Sandulli, Petra Unterholzner, Elisa Platino, Vera Tschurtschenthaler, Carlotta Saracco - will meet for the athletic meeting from 4 to 11 June in a place yet to be defined, while from 9 to 16 July it will train in Formia. From August 19 to 26 they will ski on the Stelvio Pass glacier. On September 3, departure is scheduled for Argentina with return on September 21st. The sprinters - Valentina Cillara Rossi, Sofia Pizzato, Monica Zanoner, Carlotta Da Canal, Teresa Runggaldier, Asja Zenere, Giulia Albano, Marta Giunti, Sara Dellantonio and Federica Sosio (although these three are currently injured and will follow a differentiated recovery program ) will meet in Formia from 20 to 29 June, and from 9 to 18 July, then travel to the Stelvio Pass from 30 July to 3 August, and from 28 August to 1 September, the departure for Ushuaia is set for 16 September with return on 3 October.
