The enormous solidarity of the snow professionals for a record amount that will be donated to different realities.

The heart of the Italian ski instructors led them to take part in the emergency linked to the Coronavirus, through a chain of donations organized at a territorial level. With the help of regional / provincial representative bodies, in line with the spirit of solidarity and construction that has characterized the category since its inception, snow professionals have made a series of donations since March specific realities involved in the emergency and identified locally.
The total amount of donations collected and given by the representative bodies today amounts to the total amount of 144,500 euros, to which the donations arranged by the individual Ski Schools and Instructors not yet known are to be added. This is an important economic commitment, a sign of the tangible integrity of the category and, above all, of the spirit of solidarity that has always distinguished this reality.
Voluntary contributions for emergency structures set up at regional or provincial level, as well as to the Civil Protection departments. In addition to this, the donations were aimed at the purchase of protection devices to be donated directly to healthcare facilities. The Italian ski instructors thank all the health personnel (doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians etc), the police and all those who with courage, self-sacrifice and a spirit of sacrifice, are committed to the front line to defeat this terrible epidemic .
With this gesture of financial support, the category of snow professionals, the ski instructors, wanted to make their contribution to the country system, in the awareness of playing a decisive role within the tourist supply chain and in the mountain economy. All this with the will to look to the future, however, with optimism and with that spirit of solidarity and resourcefulness that distinguishes mountain men and women, precisely those mountains that will be able to welcome the many enthusiasts with respect, attention and hope.
