Italy's adventure in the team event of the world championships in Cortina ended in the quarter-finals.
Germany took the revenge of Are 2019, when they lost the bronze medal in the confrontation with the Azzurri, eliminating De Aliprandini and his companions in the quadruple comparison that was worth access to the semifinal.
Challenges in which Lara Della Mea was unable to take part, and the worst news of the day concerns the Friulian specialist born in 1999: the blue, then replaced by Nadia Delago for the quarter-finals, fell badly in the course of the first run of the second round against Finland (with the Azzurri who then won it despite the 2-2 final, thanks to the great final test of Luca De Aliprandini), in which Lara challenged Pykalainen.
In an attempt to recover the slight disadvantage from her direct rival, the Tarvisian was thrown into the air by the violent response of the ski, then holding her left knee with the cries of pain that reached the parterre, only to be carried away in the toboggan. There is a fear of a serious injury, with the first diagnosis obviously speaking of a sprained joint, pending the MRI scan in the next few hours at the Codivilla hospital in Cortina.
