On 28-29 November the first stage in Mayrhofen with women's giant and slalom, but from 6-7 December, from Santa Caterina Valfurva and until the February races between Folgaria and Val Sarentino, on our snows there will be no lack of show (with the great return of Ponte di Legno).

Thirty days exactly to go, naturally weather permitting given the current snow conditions in the old continent.
The 51st edition of the European Cup will probably not see Giovanni Franzoni, even if the blue champion will still play some races "fitting" him among the many commitments in the CdM (being able to compete in all disciplines with a nominal ticket in the maximum circuit thanks to the triumph in the continental circuit ), and Franziska Gritsch to repeat themselves in the general classification, along a very rich season with a lot of Italy as protagonist.
Not only with their athletes, but also thanks to the many organizers who, once again, will host a series of classic events, so much so that on our snow there will be 17 races along 9 different stages.
Going in order, there is one month left to the start scheduled for November 28-29 on the Austrian snows of Mayrhofen (where last year it did not start due to cancellation), for a female giant and a slalom, then December 1-2 still women protagonists in Zinal with double super-g (and the same Swiss location will also host two giants in the following days), while in that two days the men with two giants will also leave in Gurgl.
The Italian snows will soon be the protagonists: on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 December here are the two male super-gs of Santa Caterina Valfurva, on the "Deborah Compagnoni" now classic stage of the European Cup, then on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 the two women's slaloms in the Valley Aurina, for the third consecutive time of the South Tyrolean reality in the calendar of the continental circuit.
And then again on 13-14 December the novelty, to replace Andalo in the women's calendar, of the return (after almost twenty years of absence) of Ponte di Legno with two giants on the very toasty “Casola nera”. Without interruption, on 15 December everyone in Obereggen for the historic slalom of the men's European Cup on the “Maierl”, followed the next day by an encore on the “Aloch” in Pozza di Fassa.
To close the year, from 19 to 21 December three speed races still to be officially assigned, but which, unless there are surprises, will again see “La VolatA” in Passo San Pellegrino host the women jets.
In January, on the other hand, men will exalt themselves in the two descents on the "Di Prampero" of Tarvisio, on 12-13 of the month, while the last two Italian events are both scheduled for 6-7 February: for women with the two super classics. g in Val Sarentino, for the men's sector with the double giant in Folgaria.
In a truly rich calendar, Scandinavia will be back as protagonist for the entire season finale (compared to the opening that was such until a couple of years ago), with a double stop in Gaellivare (Sweden) and the two Finns of Suomu and Levi, before the finals in Norway, on the snows of Narvik in mid-March.
