The triumph of Lara Gut-Behrami in the world championship giant on the Olympia delle Tofane brought Switzerland the third world title of this great Swiss expedition to Cortina. However, Austria remains at the top of the medal table with 4 golds and a bronze, the one obtained in today's giant by Liensberger herself, then France with a title, a silver and two bronzes, the United States with gold, the '' silver and bronze by Shiffrin, Norway and Italy with a gold each, Germany with three silvers and a bronze, followed by Sweden, Croatia and Slovakia who won a silver medal each respectively between team events, Zubcic in parallel and Vlhova in alpine combined.
