In the next few hours the blue national teams for the Olympic season: the news concerns the women's slalom

The staff for the 2021/22 year are expected from the FISI: with the change of the technical guide (via Guadagnini, inside Salvadori), we move towards a very young quintet. For the rest, few variations also in the male sector.

A few more hours, probably already at the beginning of the week, and we will meet the Italian national alpine skiing teams in view of the season that will lead to the Beijing Olympic Games. There will be no major changes compared to the last competitive year, with the reference female team, the elite one with Bassino, Brignone and Goggia, led by Gianluca Rulfi who will often "mix" for training with the polyvalent group of Feltrin and Deflorian, who remained at the their place as technicians for speed and giant respectively. What changes, as we have known for about ten days, is the slalom sector: via Matteo Guadagnini, inside Devid Salvadori as the manager of a very young group, even more so after the retirement of Irene Curtoni. Anita Gulli and Serena Viviani should be part of it, already with good consistency in the World Cup and the two novelties alongside Martina Peterlini, who essentially becomes the woman-lighthouse of the team considering that Marta Rossetti and Lara Della Mea, the other girls with more experienced at a high level, they are veterans of injuries to the crusader that will affect, play strength, at least their first part of the season (even if both will be there for Levi, unless there are surprises). Within the male team, with Alberto Ghidoni leading the speed sector which will substantially count on the same men, and Roberto Lorenzi dt of technical disciplines, with Girardi and Theolier references for giant and slalom, some displacements are expected only among young people, with Giovanni Franzoni which will be fixed in CdM.
