The FIS has announced that the organizing committee of the World Cup races in Lake Louise is working aggressively to get a positive snow check but in the meantime the organizers have been forced to move it to Monday.

As already happened several times in the past the FIS race director Hannes Trinkl was forced to postpone the federal inspection, but the president of the organizing committee Brian Lynam said he was confident in the volunteers and in the Canadian area but above all he hopes in the current cold weather conditions , after the high temperatures in autumn, and the weather forecast of the next days to stage the competitions for both men and women.
Recall that at the World Cup level are scheduled a descent and a male super-G on Saturday 24 and Sunday, November 25 and then two descents and a female super-G from Friday, November 30 to Sunday, December 2. There are also eight races in the calendar Nor-Am, the North American cadet circuit, from Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 December: two descents, one combined and one super-G for both men and women.
