A special ski mountaineer on the summit of Mont Blanc. It is Alexis Pinturault, who in the past few hours has managed to complete a journey he has long dreamed of, undertaken together with his wife Romane and an expert guide such as Sébastien Figliolini, a native of Courchevel as the winner of the last World Cup.
The transalpine champion reached the highest point in Western Europe along the historic route of the Grands Mulets, stopping at the refuge after three hours of climbing, before reaching the 4810 metti of the legendary Alpine peak the next day; “We needed the right weather window, we found it”, explained Romane Pinturault to Ski Chrono, with the possibility of enjoying an extraordinary ski descent, in optimal snow conditions, through the north face.
