Sweden took everything on the final day of the opening stage of the 2026 Ski Roll World Cup.

In Trollhaettan, it was time for the 15 km classic technique race, with Edvin Anger claiming victory by a margin of 17”3 over Finland’s Lauri Mannila and 19”9 over teammate Axel Jutterstroem. The Italians finished well back, with Giovanni Lorenzetti 49th and Tommaso Dellagiacoma 51st.

The hosts also dominated the women’s race, thanks to Elin Henriksson’s victory, while Andorran Gina Del Rio claimed another podium finish, less than 8” behind the leader. Sweden’s Johanna Hagstroem, who won Friday’s Sprint, took third place at 16”. Two Italians scored points, with Maria Eugenia Boccardi finishing 25th and Stefania Corradini 28th.

Among the juniors, Ville Jutterdal took the win, with the Swede finishing ahead of Norway’s Even Broberg and compatriot Vilmer Malm. Stefano Epis, the strongest of the Italian team over the three days of racing, finished 25th, ahead of Federico Sartori in 28th. In the women’s junior category, Sweden scored a one-two through Noomi Zeffer and Matilda Grahn, with Norway’s Pernille Posaasen third. Nicole Falanelli finished 20th, while Maria Invernizzi was 23rd.

The next event will be the World Championships: from Thursday, September 3, to Sunday, September 6, Madona will once again host the races counting toward the world championships.
