Twelve athletes included in the junior biathlon national team: the FISI also formalizes the young people of the fund

The latest teams for the 2022/23 season have been unveiled: there are twenty cross-country skiers between U23, U20 and national interest group.

The FISI has formalized the last groups in view of the next competitive year. Starting with the junior biathlon team, coordinated by Francesco Semenzato who will lead 12 athletes. They are Marco Barale, Nicolò Betemps, Mattia Piller Hoffer, Christoph Pircher, Felix Ratschiller, Elia Zeni, Gaia Brunetto, Fabiana Carpella, Astrid Plosch, Ilaria and Sara Scattolo, Martina Trabucchi. As for cross-country skiing, the national youth teams are formed: twenty athletes in total, divided between Under 23, Under 20 and national interest group, coordinated by Paolo Rivero and with Luciano Cardini in the role of responsible coach. U23 formation composed by Mauro Balmetti, Simone Mastrobattista, Benjamin Schwingshackl, Veronica Silvestri and Denise Dedei. Seven athletes in the U20 team, namely Andrea Zorzi, Davide Ghio, Hannas Oberhofer, Lucia Isonni, Iris De Martin Pinter, Elisa Gallo and Nadine Laurent. Finally, the national interest group formed by Aksel Artusi, Martino Carollo, Alex Serafini, David Oberhofer, Ylvie Folie, Maria Gismondi, Giulia Negroni and Manuela Salvadori.
