Elisa Sordello does not stop giving herself satisfaction. The athlete of the Entracque Alpi Marittime Ski Club won her second Italian roll skis title on Saturday. After the success achieved a month ago in Rieti in the mass start in free technique, the 2000 class athlete from Robilante also repeated herself in the uphill mass start with classic technique in Boscochiesanuova. Once again Sordello literally dominated the race, immediately taking the lead of the competition together with the big favorite of the eve, Lucia Scardoni (Fiamme Gialle), for years one of the top athletes of the Italian cross-country ski team. The two broke away giving each other regular changes, then with great courage the Piedmontese raised her pace, sending the Venetian into difficulty, so she had to let go of the tails of her roller skis. At that point it was a long solitary ride for the 9 km of the Veronese route to the finish, cut once again with arms raised. Behind him, Scardoni went into difficulty, being overtaken also by Iris De Martin Pinter (Carabinieri), junior cross-country ski national, who crossed the line in second position at 1 '' 05 "from Elisa Sordello. Third place for Scardoni herself, with a gap of 1 '' 43 "8. The men's race was more balanced, which went to the Venetian Michael Galassi (Orsago), who managed to overtake his immediate rivals, Luca Curti (Orsago) and Matteo Tanel (Robinson), who came second and third respectively. Fourth place for the coach of the national biathlon Mirco Romanin. In less than a week the official start of the Roller Ski World Cup, which will start next Friday in Slovakia, in Banska Bystrica.
