On the eve of the start of the Women's Summer Grand Prix (and of an Olympic season) comes news of a sudden retreat, that of Slovenian Eva Logar, who has decided to say enough.

Velika Loka's 26-year-old explained that he had been thinking about the decision for a long time, reaching to the point where he realized that it would be better to hang on to the nail.
The peak of Logar's career came in 2011 when he was ranked 4th at the Oslo World Championships 2011. During his competitive activity he picked up a number of top-15 top-level races, but he never managed to get on the podium . In addition to that fourth place, he got one in the World Cup and three in the Summer Grand Prix.
Over the years, however, it has progressively slipped back into the Slovenian interior hierarchies, resulting in its slow, but inexorable, decline in performance.
