Slovenian skippers have already begun physical training for three weeks, however the composition of national teams has been officially certified by the Siol.net portal only in the last few hours. There are several new developments compared to last year.

In fact, Slovenia decided to create two A teams. A real one, reserved for the youngest. This policy was already adopted in the past, but had been abandoned in recent years. In 2016 - 17, team A consisted of 10 men. In view of 2017 - '18 this number remains unchanged, but athletes are divided into two different groups.
Coach Matjaz Polak, who will follow the most experienced, explained how this move was decided because "Team A was too numerous, with 9 or 10 boys training at the same time it was difficult to be able to track them all properly.Now, We can focus more on individuals. " The younger ones will be entrusted with the care of Gorazd Bertoncelj, accustomed to working with the junior. It is no coincidence that Domen Prevc, while being in the team A, will train with the one dedicated to young people.
