This afternoon on the Schattenbergschanze the 69th edition of the Tour of the four trampolines opened. Excellent start for Giovanni Bresadola, who easily qualified for tomorrow's race.

The blue managed the difficult conditions that influenced the qualification in the best possible way and with strong winds he landed at 119m, finishing in 9th position. Tomorrow he will therefore face Canadian Matthew Soukup: an affordable opponent for tomorrow's test.
As per the regulations, the first series of tomorrow's race will be characterized by 25 duels, established by the qualification standings. The winners of the duels and the best five "losers" will qualify for the decisive series.
Today’s test was affected by a very strong wind behind us and a heavy snowfall, which put several athletes in difficulty. The overall measurements were modest, as was the show. The Austrian Philipp Aschenwald was the winner in the end, preceding Halvor Egner Granerud and Cene Prevc by more than ten points.
