The sledding season on an artificial track has officially begun today, with the Nations Cup trials qualifying for the first World Cup races scheduled for the weekend on the Olympic gut of Yanqing, where they have been working for weeks all the national teams for the tests already very useful in view of the Games next February.

Sunday will be the turn of the women's single, with Andrea Voetter, Nina Zoeggeler, Verena Hofer, Marion Oberhofer and Sandra Robatscher in the race.
