Las Leñas announces farewell to the 2020 winter season to protect workers and the public against the Covid -19 pandemic.

Due to the coronavirus, the main Argentine ski resort, Las Leñas. will not open the lifts.
In Argentina, the lockdown will end on May 24, but although it is not yet known if it will be prolonged, the resort has however decided not to kick off the 2020 winter season.
Last Thursday, the ski area management issued the following statement: "For reasons related to the local, provincial and national health emergency, we inform you that we will not be able to open for the 2020 winter season. We are obliged to act with the utmost responsibility and safeguard both our workers and the general public "
The season was supposed to start in mid-June and then end in October.
