Arno Kompastscher confirmed the opening of the plants for January 18, but stressed that he will be ready to close everything if the epidemiological situation worsens.

During this morning's press conference, Arno Kompastscher, President of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, announced that on January 18th the ski lifts will be able to open.
Since it seems that the new decree, which will come into force from January 16, will prohibit travel between regions even in the yellow zone, the plants will be open only for residents. It will therefore be the individual ski resorts to choose whether it will be convenient to open or not.
Arno Kompastscher also stressed that, in the event of a worsening of the epidemiological situation, he will be ready to take severe restrictive measures and close everything.
The new ordinance with all the details will be signed on Saturday 16 January.
