On November 30, the 2019/2020 winter season will officially begin in the Dolomiti Superski carousel, the first of seven with the “Dolomiti Olimpiche†predicate after the IOC assigned to Milan-Cortina d'Ampezzo in June 2019, and with this to the territory of Dolomiti Superski, the Winter Olympic Games of 2026.

The first lifts to open (30 November) will be those of Cortina d'Ampezzo, Kronplatz, Carezza, Arabba / Marmolada, Val di Fiemme / Obereggen, San Martino di Castrozza / Passo Rolle, Alpe Lusia / San Pellegrino and Civetta .
Between 4 and 7 December the Alta Badia, Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi, Val di Fassa and Rio Pusteria-Bressanone areas will be opened.
The Sellaronda circuit will be open from December 5th 2019 to April 14th 2020, while the Great War Tour from December 28th 2019 to March 22nd 2020.
For the 2019/2020 winter season, over 100 million euros have been invested in the construction of new plants to replace the existing ones, new and renovated runways and for a snow-making system that guarantees ski conditions from the beginning of the season.
The new facilities are located in the areas of Cortina d'Ampezzo, Plan de Corones, Alta Badia, Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi, Obereggen, 3 Cime Dolomiti and San Martino di Castrozza / Passo Rolle.
The closure of the 2019/2020 winter season is scheduled between 22 March and 5 May depending on the ski areas.
