Here are some tips on where to go skiing this weekend.

LOMBARDY
Cloudy Saturday and Sunday with sunshine. We propose to go skiing in the Borno Monte Altissimo ski area, a small station in the province of Brescia with 20 km of ski slopes and an ideal destination for families with children who can start making the first turns in the school field equipped with a treadmill.
PIEDMONT
In Piedmont a sunny weekend is expected. We recommend a stop in Alagna Valsesia, at the foot of Monte Rosa, the paradise for freeride lovers. With local guides you can go down on kilometers of snowy slopes. The starting point for off-piste skiing is the Indren glacier at an altitude of 3,000 meters.
TRENTINO ALTO ADIGE
Sunny weekend also in Trentino Alto Adige. In Trentino we suggest making two turns in Madonna di Campiglio where on Saturday 1 February you can participate in the Trentino Ski Sunrise event and be the first to leave a trace on the slopes in the early morning.
In South Tyrol we propose instead to go skiing in the Klausberg ski area, in Cadipietra, where you can try the Alpine Coaster Klausberg Flitze, the alpine roller coaster. A path of 1,800 meters, a speed of over 40 kilometers per hour, with many ups and downs and laps of death.
FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA
In Friuli Venezia Giulia a cloudy weekend is expected. We suggest going skiing in Sappada where this weekend the first edition of the Xtreme Days Winter Edition will be held, the winter version of the action sports festival. Events are scheduled for: Ice climbing, snow zorball, paragliding, bike freestyle show, dog sledding, fat bike, snowshoeing, acroyoga, strider bikes, ski alp and numerous workshops.
ABRUZZO
Cloudy weekend also in Abruzzo. We offer skiing in Campo Felice where Snowsound party on snow will be held on Saturday 1 February: music and fun on the ski slopes with a torchlight procession at night.

Dolomiti UNESCO, il bilancio di Banca d'Italia: +9% di pernottamenti senza consumare più territorio
Il paper di Banca d'Italia analizza gli effetti sui flussi turistici e sull'ambiente nei 4 anni successivi all'iscrizione delle Dolomiti nella lista dei Patrimoni Mondiali dell'Umanità, avvenuta nel 2009. A fronte di un incremento delle presenze, il numero di strutture turistiche non è cresciuto e quello di posti letto si è ridotto. Ai maggiori flussi turistici non si è associato né un aumento del consumo di suolo né una maggiore produzione di rifiuti, dimostrando il potenziale del riconoscimento UNESCO nel generare benefici economici locali senza compromettere la qualità ambientale, a condizione che siano in atto un efficace coordinamento istituzionale e solide garanzie normative.
