Where to go skiing on the Carnival weekend

Here are some tips on where to go skiing on the weekend of 22 and 23 February.

PIEDMONT This weekend is expected good weather in Piedmont. We offer a very small ski resort in the province of Cuneo, Pian Munè, in the Monviso Valley. It is particularly suitable for beginners and for those who want to start getting familiar with the snow. The resort has 16 km of ski slopes and a school camp for children. In addition, masked skiers will pay the ski pass for half the price. LOMBARDY Sunny weekend in Lombardy. We recommend skiing in Santa Caterina Valfurva where this Saturday you can ski at night with the Carnival masks on the Deborah Compagnoni slope, one of the most beautiful and spectacular slopes in the Alps. Afterwards there will be a party with sweets and DJ sets at the Terrazza Seat. TRENTINO ALTO ADIGE Nice weekend also in Trentino - Alto Adige. In Trentino we suggest a stop in Campitello di Fassa where on Sunday in Piaz de Ciampedel, many masks wearing the typical "facères da bel and da burt" will parade and will perform witty sketches and jokes, involving the spectators. Everything will be accompanied by live music from a local band. In South Tyrol, however, we propose to go for two turns in the Racines-Giovo ski area, in the Isarco Valley. It is a small ski resort with 25 km of easy and medium-difficulty ski slopes. The resort also has a toboggan run, a cross-country trail and a fun park. FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA Two sunny days, Saturday and Sunday, in Friuli - Venezia Giulia. Here we propose to go skiing in Forni di Sopra. The little ones can have fun at the Fantasy Snow Park, a playground with inflatable figures, snow humps, mini trampoline, conveyor belt, tunnel, sled track, rubber boats and bobsleighs. Also on Saturday evening you can participate in a snowshoe hike at night and admire the stars.
